Rowen (she/her) graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University in 2024 with a bachelors in neuroscience and certificates in cognitive science and linguistics. At Princeton, she worked as a research assistant in the Brain Development Lab under the mentorship of Dr. Jesse Gomez, where she completed her undergraduate thesis exploring sensorimotor interactions with the language network in sign language learners. After graduating, she worked as a neurobehavioral analyst in the Autism Center at the Child Mind Institute under Dr. Adriana Di Martino, studying neurosubtyping in autism and contributing to data curation of a large, open-source MRI repository. She is now a first-year PhD student in the Interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience (IPN) interested in language with a focus on learning, development, and disorders.
