After graduating, she worked in the Cognitive Neuroimaging Lab at Georgetown with Dr. Xiong Jiang, where she studied HIV-Associated Neurocognitive Disorders (HAND) using behavioral and neuroimaging approaches.

Now, Mikaley is a Patrick Healy Fellow in the Interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience at Georgetown. She is rotating with Dr. Greenwald, Dr. Orpella, and Dr. Liu to better understand sensorimotor function and plasticity. Aside from studying the brain, Mikaley loves drawing, reading, running, cycling, skiing, and spending time with friends and family!
