Iria Gutierrez-Schieferl (she/her/hers) is a PhD candidate in the Interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience (IPN). She graduated from Boston College in 2022 with a major in Neuroscience and Studio Art. At Georgetown, Iria is working under her mentor Dr. Guinevere Eden to study the neuroanatomical differences in children with reading disability, with a focus on sex-specific differences. In her free time, Iria enjoys doing yoga and spending time outdoors.
