Prior Education: BA & Sc in Cognitive Science, McGill University
Teva graduated from McGill University in 2025 with a degree in Cognitive Science. At McGill, she worked in the Language and Multilingualism Lab with Dr. Debra Titone to study bilingual reading and writing, developing a passion for the cognitive science behind language. After graduation, she joined the Child Language Lab at the CUNY Graduate Center to gain experience with research on child language development.
Now, as a PhD student at Georgetown’s Interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience, Teva is continuing to further her interest in language and development through using neuroimaging to study language recovery after stroke in children and adults. Outside of the lab, she enjoys reading fiction, lifting weights, and traveling to new places.
