Friday, 4:00 Organizers: Esther Krook-Magnuson, Sunbin Song, Elizabeth Lacey Tea Time is an informal discussion about current events or other topics relevant to our lives as scientists. At the retreat, our Tea Time discussion will focus on how to balance a family and a career, with further discussion about career choices in general. How will you balance your career and your family? How have others managed it? What new obstacles do emerging scientists today face in balancing a career and family? Barry Wolfe, Baoji Xu, and Maria Donoghue have all agreed to share their insights and career choices. Tea and cookies will served! |
