95 South to
Exit 150B, VA-619 - go west
Continue on Joplin Rd. for ~1/4 mile
Take right into park (Park Headquarters Rd.).
Proceed to booth to pay entrance fee and get ticket and continue to the
first left. Wind ~1/2 mile
to a right into Camp 3 (Orenda).
Keep going past the house on the left
and the parking lot on the right
to the end of the road (1/4 mile) to Orenda.
Empty your car and When you arrive at Camp Orenda, pull up to the main building (it is obvious), unload all your stuff, and GO BACK the way you just came and park in the lot ~200 yards back, which will then be on your left. You cannot leave your car parked near the main building. The rangers are very adamant about this. Only two cars can be parked near the building (BBW and JTW). So, even though you see a couple of cars parked there, you must move your car to the lot. Thanks. |
