GU Student Research Day

The purpose of Student Research Day is to showcase the scientific research efforts of graduate students at Georgetown University. IPN students are highly encouraged to participate and our students have been very sucessful in this competition.

In 2011, two of our students, Meredith Clifford and Lauren Orefice, received first-place, and one, Rebekah Feng, received an honorable mention.

At the 2012 Student Research Days, which did not include a poster competition, 11 of 42 posters presented were from IPN students.

In 2013, Evan Gordon won the Dr. Zofia Zukowska Award for Excellence in Thesis Research.

In 2014, Amanda DiBattista won 3rd place for her oral presentation, and Laura Erickson received the Dr. Zofia Zukowska Award for Excellence in Thesis Research.
