YATES FIELD HOUSE

The Yates Memorial Field House is for the recreational use of Georgetown University students, faculty, staff, alumni and their families.  This multi-use facility allows members to get fit in any way they choose. Whether exercising alone using Yates' cardiovascular equipment, extensive weight area, or heated indoor pool, or in a group atmosphere playing basketball, volleyball, or participating in aerobics classes, Yates has what it takes to get you in shape.

Yates membership is mandatory for all pre-thesis students; in most cases, the membership fee for biomedical pre-thesis doctoral students is covered by your scholarship award (please refer to your 2003-2004 award letter to find out if your Yates membership fee is covered by your scholarship).  Once students begin thesis research, Yates membership if optional; in most cases, the membership fee for biomedical thesis doctoral students is not covered by scholarship, and must be paid out-of-pocket by the student.
